２．申請書改善チェック 先着15名迄
URAが応募研究内容の論理構成、研究の意義・価値の伝わりやすさについて、完成度をチェックリストに基づき確認します。ご自分で十分書けているつもりでも、何かが欠けている場合もありますので、申請する学生並びに指導教員の気づきとなれば幸いです。また先着が埋まり締め切りになっていても以下チェックリストを活用し、ご自身や研究室の仲間と振り返ってみてください。
URAのチェック内容の例
- 同じ研究分野の専門家以外にも価値が伝わるか？
- ストーリーが分かりやすいか？
- 論理展開が分かりやすいか？
- 求められている問いにこたえているか？
- 文章表現が分かりやすいか？
- 適切な例を示しているか？ など

受付期間：令和7年3月2日（月）～4月13日（月）
申込方法：指導教員がu-Radシステムからお申し込みください
対象：本学教員を受入教員として申請するPD、DC１/DC2、SPRING応募予定者
※本学教員を受入教員とする予定の他大学の学生もご利用いただけます。
（u-Radの使用方法についてはこちらをご参照ください）
※ 申請書改善チェックは指導教員からお申込みください。
※ 指導教員から上限1名迄のご利用とさせていただきます。また、u-rad上で学振申請書改善支援を実施中は指導教員の資金改善支援ができなくなることご承知おきください。
- 下の「申し込む」ボタンをクリックして統一認証IDでu-Radにログイン
- 申請一覧リストの「2025年度 URAによる研究費獲得支援の申込みフォーム / Request Form for URA Support for Obtaining Grants」の「詳細」ボタンをクリック
- 表示されたメニューの「申請者基本情報」の「編集」をクリックし必要事項を入力 「調書のブラッシュアップ（調書ドラフトへのコメント付け）」を選択 申請予定の研究費 は学振特別研究員 / PD・DC2・DC1を選択
- 「申請内容ファイル」や「チェックリスト」等必要書類をアップロード
- 「提出」ボタンをクリック

FY2026 Application Period Reviewing Service by URAs for JSPS Research Fellowship for Young Scientists (GAKUSHIN)
Starting this year, the application forms for the JSPS Research Fellowships and SPRING programs will be standardized.
１．Research Concept Visualization Workshop (for JSPS Research Fellowship applicants & prospective SPRING program applicants)

If you are considering applying for the JSPS Research Fellowship, please take advantage of the application review service after participating in the Research Concept Visualization Workshop.
2. Application Document Improvement Check (Limited to approx. 15 applicants on a first-come basis)
URA staff will review the logical structure of your research proposal and how effectively the significance and value of the research are conveyed, using a standardized checklist. Even if you feel your application is well written, important elements may still be missing. We hope this process will provide helpful insights for both applicants and their supervisors.
Even if the quota is full and applications are closed, please use the checklist below to reflect on your proposal individually or with members of your laboratory.
Examples of what URA will check:
- Is the value of the research understandable to non-specialists in the field?
- Is the storyline clear?
- Is the logical development easy to follow?
- Does the proposal address the required questions?
- Is the writing clear and easy to understand?
- Are appropriate examples provided?

- Please ensure that the supervisor provides prior guidance and reviews the student’s application file before submission.

How to Apply
Application Period:
From Monday, March 2nd , 2026 (Reiwa 7) to early April 13th
How to Apply:
The supervisor should submit the application through the u‑Rad system.
Eligibility:
Applicants for PD, DC1, DC2, and SPRING programs who plan to apply with a faculty member of the University of Tsukuba as their host researcher.
Students from other universities who plan to have a University of Tsukuba faculty member as their host researcher may also use this service.

Notes:
- Applications for the Application Document Check must be submitted only by the supervisor.
- Also note that while JSPS application support is being provided through U-Rad, we will not be able to offer funding improvement support for the academic advisor.
Steps to Apply
- Click the “Apply” button below and log in to u‑Rad with your Unified Authentication ID.
- In the application list, click “Details” for the item titled
“Request Form for URA Support for Obtaining Grants”. - In the displayed menu, click “Edit” under Applicant Basic Information and fill in the required fields.
- Upload the required documents under Application Files.
- Click “Submit”.
After Submission
The assigned URA will review the documents and return the results via email.

- Application deadlines vary depending on each Area Support Office.
