本学研究者の科学プレゼンテーション能力の向上を目的として、「遺伝研メソッド*1」科学英語プレゼンテーション出前研修を開催します。本講座は【6日間のプログラム】です。

*1「遺伝研メソッド」とは 国立遺伝学研究所が独自に開発した科学プレゼンテーション教育プログラム 特徴： ・ 「英語」と「科学的思考」の両方を複合的に強化するための国際的科学者教育プログラム ・ 英語教育者ではなく「科学者の視点」で設計 ・ よくある失敗や誤りなど科学者としての豊富な経験に基づく ・ 学会発表に限らず、面接審査、異分野融合研究などにおいても、研究者のプレゼンテー ション能力の向上に成果を上げている |

Training Course in Scientific Presentation using the “NIG Method” Lecture
Want to hone your skills in scientific presentations?
The course will help not only to improve your presentations, but also to make your draft papers and applications better!
The Research Administration/Management (URA) Office and TRiSTAR office will hold a training course for scientific presentation using the “NIG Method*1” with the aim of improving the presentation skills of researchers in the university. The course consists of six full day of lectures. Please register through the link at the bottom of this page.

*1 What is the “NIG method”? An original education program for improving scientific presentations developed by the National Institute of Genetics (NIG). Features: ・ A program to develop skills in both English and scientific thinking required for international scientists. ・ Designed from a perspective of scientists, rather than English educators. ・ Based on the real experience of scientists (e.g. common mistakes) ・ The NIG Method has been successful in improving the presentation skills of researchers, not only in conference presentations, but also in interviews and interdisciplinary research. |

Target
As a general rule, young researchers (including PD) who can attend all the training sessions. (Partial participation (auditing only) is possible.)
Graduate and undergraduate students may participate with the recommendation from their supervisor.
This training course is designed for institutions implementing the “Top Runner Development Program through University-National Institute-Company Collaboration”, for which the University of Tsukuba serves as the representative institution as part of the “Strategic Professional Development Program for Young Researchers” of the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology.
