指定国立大学法人としての評価や第4期中期目標・中期計画において、論文成果に基づく指標の重要性が一層高まっています。これを踏まえ、文献データベースを用いた分析基盤整備の一環として、Scopus Author ID*についてご本人による確認をお願いいたします。
本学ではこれまで、URAが毎年Scopus Author IDのデータを取りまとめており、教員の皆様に個別の提出をお願いすることはありませんでした。今回、分析の精度向上および評価指標への理解促進を目的として、ご協力をお願いするものです。
なお、ご提供いただく情報は、組織に関する分析・評価に活用するものであり、目的以外には利用しません。
*：Scopus Author IDはElsevier社の論文データベースScopusにおいて著者を識別するために自動付与され、公開されているものです。
本件の主な目的は以下のとおりです。
（１）研究成果に基づく評価指標への理解促進
指定国立大学内における資源配分や中期計画のKPI、学内組織評価等において、論文成果に基づく指標がどのように活用されているかをご理解いただくこと。
（２）ご自身の研究成果の可視化と把握
SciVal上で、TOP10％論文割合や国際共著論文割合などの指標を通じて、自身の研究成果の状況を把握いただくこと。

Request for Confirmation and Submission of Your Scopus Author ID
The importance of indicators based on research publications has been increasing in institutional evaluations as a Designated National University, as well as in the Fourth Medium-Term Goals and Plans. In this context, as part of developing an analytical infrastructure utilizing bibliographic databases, you are requested to confirm your Scopus Author ID.*
At the University of Tsukuba, Scopus Author ID data has previously been compiled annually by URA staff, and individual submission by faculty members has not been required. This request is made to improve the accuracy of analysis and to promote understanding of evaluation indicators.
Please note that the information you provide will be used for analysis and evaluation at the organizational level and will not be used for any other purposes.
* A Scopus Author ID is an identifier automatically assigned to authors when their publications are indexed in the Scopus database (Elsevier) and is publicly available.
The main purposes of this request are as follows:
- Enhancing understanding of evaluation indicators based on research outputs
To help faculty understand how publication-based indicators are used in resource allocation, KPIs under the medium-term plan, and internal organizational evaluations within the Designated National University framework.
- Visualization and understanding of your research performance
To enable faculty to review their research performance using indicators available in SciVal, such as the Top 10% publication rate and the international co-authorship rate.

Please confirm your Scopus Author ID and submit the information via the designated form.
