What’s on URA activities
URA will hold a Seminar “International Research Development – Extramural Funding Acquisition Activities at UC-Irvine”2014.05.29
University of Tsukuba URA has been collaborating with University of California, Irvine (UC-Irvine) to promote researcher exchanges since last fall. At this seminar, we will have Mr. Jacob E. Levin, Assistant Vice Chancellor of Research Development, UC-Irvine, also a board member of the National Organization of Research Development Professionals (NORDP) as the speaker and have an opportunity to learn about the activities of research development professionals in the U.S.
UC-Irvine Research Development Office has a system specialized in supporting acquisition of extramural research fundings. Mr. Levin will share the information on their advanced research development activities with faculties and URA members of University of Tsukuba. We also have sessions to introduce collaborative research promotions between the two universities, and to exchange information and opinions on URA’s activities for international collaborative research promotions.
